Social Media Management

Running your business can often leave you with no time to work ‘on’ your business.

If you find yourself posting ‘on the hoof’ with no real strategy, no real objective and no idea if your content will resonate with your intended audience, this is for you! Outsourcing your social media is a cost effective solution to your brand maintaining a consistent online presence. If a potential customer wants to know more about your company, you can guarantee that after your website, they will check out your social channels!

So how does it work?

It’s always good to have an initial conversation to discuss your needs and your social media pain points. This can be via phone or Zoom and we can discuss your objectives and find out if we are a good fit for each other. Then… Before any posting takes place on your channels it is important to complete a strategy. This will include:

  • Business overview and goals for social media
  • Identifying your client avatars – who are your customers?
  • Content strategy – what content will appeal to your audience?
  • Tone of voice – this needs to be consistent company-wide
  • Crisis management – how should we respond to negative comments?
  • Branding – your fonts, colours, logo.

Already done some of this work as part of your wider marketing strategy? Excellent – elements of this will be useful and we can incorporate it into a fresh, new social media strategy.

And after the strategy is finished?

Well this is where it gets exciting! For the first two weeks, I will regularly post on your relevant social media channels at various times of the day. In a similar vein to running Facebook Ads, there needs to be an element of testing when we start out. What time is your audience online? What kind of content are they most responsive to?

From here, I can adapt the content and the timings to maximise the opportunity to reach your audience. What is one of the most important parts of having a social media presence? BEING SOCIAL! It is important to respond to customers if they send messages and/or engage with your content. Community engagement is essential – and I can look after this for you too. And do you know what? Quite often comments from customers can prompt ideas for further posts, or sometimes a new business idea – win-win!

Costs: Initial strategy £1,000 (this will be less if you have pre-existing marketing information that can be used). Social Media Management = from £600/month for one channel, full management. Please note: this is a guide price. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ price in social media. After our initial conversation I will be able to submit a more accurate proposal of costs.
